Rare RV - short yet BIG rig feel !
SAFARI TREK, 2430
Year: 2002
Mileage: 36,300
MOT: June 2020
Incredibly practical at just 26ft 10” (7.96m) in length, the Trek gets onto nearly all campsites and pitches with ease. It is also a great RV to drive on our smaller roads and the reversing camera helps too. No slide-outs to worry about yet still very roomy internally. Big living space, large bathroom and, in addition to the Jack Knife sofa-bed, there’s a king-size Electro-Majic bed that comes down easily from the ceiling.
Safari’s were built to much higher standard than many other class A’s with aluminium superstructure, roof and sidewalls. The interior cabinets are made from quality hardwood and the captain’s chairs have been professionally re-upholstered in luxurious cream leather. There is a 3-ring gas hob, new microwave, Dometic fridge/freezer and flat screen tv.
The RV is fitted with a tracker and the tyres are new, dated June 2019. It’s a diesel 6.5L engine on a Workhorse chassis. The 4.0KW LPG generator is great for off-grid and the furnace gets the bus toasty warm. Fresh water capacity is an amazing 280L and, as usual with RV's, great waste storage - nearly 300L. There’s masses of storage space in the basement lockers and the awnings (large side and small side) are in excellent condition with the fabric having been replaced since new.
