KeymasterHi Jim sorry for the really late reply.
I’m having a gas pipe made up by John sims that will have a tee off with a quick release valve for my bbq. If your interested I’ll let you know the outcome once it’s fitted .

KeymasterI have an American bbq but it all depends on what connection it has as the newer ones have the quick release. Once I get the pipe back I can show you as it will work off the onboard tank but use the onboard regulator 37dar.
Are you the guy Gavin took a picture of when mark was fitting some cameras???

InactiveDON’T JUST CUT THE COPPER PIPE AFTER THE REGULATOR
Just remember if tee’ing off after the regulator the copper pipe is 16mm and uk 15mm fittings
will not fit you will need 16mm to 15mm reducersBut you could use an extender-stay fitted before the regulator and then use a regulator fitted to the BBQ like they do in the states
